OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

The occupational therapist (OT) works closely with children and adults of all ages, who have intellectual and physical impairments, and helps them to independently carry out everyday tasks or occupations. OTs develop rehabilitation programme to help rebuild lost skills and restore lost confidence of Persons with disbilities.

OTs work as part of a multidisciplinary team, alongside other rehabilitation professionals like physiotherapists, speech therapists, special educators, CBR workers and parents.
