Children with Disabilities Achieve a Milestone! On August 12, 2025, the grand Seed Ball Making Event at Amar Seva Sangam Ayikudi, was a resounding success!
The event was presided over by S. Sankararaman, Promoter Co-Chairman & Secretary of Amar Seva Sangam, with Mrs. S. Pattammal, Correspondent of Siva Saraswathi Vidyalaya, leading the program. Sengottai Gandhiyavathi Mr. V. Vivekanandan joined as the Chief Guest, while Mr. P. Thirumaran from Vengadampatti, a social activist, inspired the gathering with his words.
Students and teachers of Siva Saraswathi Vidyalaya, along with our dedicated social workers, came together to prepare and dedicate seed balls containing 1 lakh seeds to nature.
Children with disabilities, with unmatched enthusiasm, skill, and creativity, embedded seeds such as tamarind, neem, naval, almond, moringa, and more into mud balls.
This initiative is part of the ambitious “1 Crore Seed Balls” project, aiming to green roadsides, community forests, barren lands, and both sides of railway tracks.
Heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to everyone who contributed to this inspiring act of love for nature.
