On 4th June 2025, a momentous occasion unfolded at Amar Seva Sangam as we held the groundbreaking ceremony for our upcoming Indoor Badminton Stadium for the Differently Abled—a landmark initiative dedicated to promoting inclusive sports and empowerment through physical fitness.

 

The event was graced by the Secretary and Co-Chairman of Amar Seva Sangam, Mr. S. Sankararaman, whose visionary leadership continues to shape transformative initiatives for persons with disabilities.

 

The highlight of the occasion was the presence of our benevolent donors, Mr. Krishnamoorthy and Mrs. Nilaveni, whose generous contribution has made this dream a reality.

 

Their support is not just financial—it’s a gesture of belief in ability, dignity, and equal opportunity. The stadium, once completed, will serve as a state-of-the-art facility for training, competitions, and rehabilitation through adaptive badminton, offering new hope and possibilities for aspiring para-athletes from rural and underserved communities.

 

This initiative reflects Amar Seva Sangam’s unwavering commitment to creating barrier-free environments that nurture talent, health, and independence among individuals with disabilities.
