Thiramai Sports Final
On March 8-9, 2025, Amar Seva Sangam Home students, Spinal Cord Injury service users, and disabled youth trainees shined at the Final Tournament hosted by the National Center for Assistive Health Technology IIT Madras & Thiramai Sports 4 All.
S. Gobi won a Gold medal in wheelchair basketball. Senthur Pandi an alumni of Spinal Cord Injury won 1st in table tennis. P. Gopi & Vijay Kumar an alumni of Spinal Cord Injury came up as Runners in wheelchair Cricket. Our home children Mathesh Kumar was 1st in Boccia, Sudalai Karthick was 2nd in shotput and Ananthi & Palthurai also participated in shotput and other events.
It is one of the successes of how Rehabilitation followed by proper socializing and Inclusion efforts would lead to bringing out the full potential of the persons with disabilities.
